Analysis of Wizz Air schedule for Tuzla International
Airport for the year 2017 is projecting over 550.000 passengers to use the
airport. The numbers are including only scheduled flights by Wizz Air. From June
14 to August 30, airport will handle charter flights to Antalya too. Total of 24 flights are scheduled, with around 5.000 tourist expected to use these
flights. With projected 550.000 passengers and future growth, Tuzla airport needs
major investments in airport infrastructure and connecting roads to the airport.
To be able to accommodate future growth airport needs to develop master plan
for future expansion and concentrate on attracting more airlines (both passenger
and cargo).
